Description

The open water scuba diver (basic) course is the entry level scuba certification course providing fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to competently engage in open water diving activities without supervision to a maximum depth of 60 feet, provided the diving activities and areas dived are approximate to those trained in. Students will learn to effectively set up, care for and use equipment essential to scuba diving, assess dive sites, plan repetitive dives, monitor air consumption, and perform skills necessary for breathing compressed air at depth. Minimum age requirement is 10 years. * Price is based on 4 or more students. ($725*) ($3000 private).
