Cancellation Policy
Dive Tour and NAUI Course Cancellation Policy

At Trident Divers, we strive to provide the best experience for our customers. However, we understand that plans can change. Below are the guidelines for canceling or rescheduling dive tours and NAUI courses. Please review this policy carefully before booking.
1. Dive Tour Cancellation Policy
1.1 Cancellation and Refunds​

For guided dive tours paid in advance: 100% refundable up to 7 days in advance of the scheduled tour date; 75% refund available up to 96 hours in advance of the scheduled tour date; and no refunds within 72 hours of scheduled tour date*. No shows will be charged full payment. For guided dive tours paid at pick up: no refunds once payment has been accepted. Cancellation due to “last minute’ illness can be rescheduled or refunded if accompanied by a physician’s written letter. Cancellation by guide for client intoxication or impairment is eligible for a reschedule only. Cancellation for diver safety or hazardous ocean conditions at discretion of guide may receive a refund* or may be rescheduled. *[equipment rental fees will not be returned – per third party vendor policy].

For scuba lessons, once student materials are ordered there will be no refund on student materials, pool facility rental, or scuba gear rental fees. Refunds will be issued within 10 business days of notice of cancellation.
* Attention Paypal users, as of April 2019 Paypal now charges a refund processing fee, which may be passed along to you the consumer.

1.2 Cancellation by Trident Divers
In the event we must cancel a dive tour due to unsafe conditions (such as bad weather or equipment issues), participants will be offered the choice of:

Rescheduling the tour for another available date at no additional cost.

Full refund of the booking fee if rescheduling is not possible.
1.3 Medical or Health Cancellations
If you cannot participate due to a medical condition or illness, please notify us immediately. We may request documentation from a healthcare provider. Depending on the situation, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a refund at our discretion.
1.4 Late Arrivals
Late arrivals may result in a missed tour with no refund provided. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time for check-in and preparations.
2. NAUI Course Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellation by Participant

More than 7 days before course start date: Full refund of the course fee, or reschedule to another course date at no extra cost.

3-7 days before course start date: 50% refund of the course fee, or reschedule with a rebooking charge.

Less than 72 hours before course start date or no-show: No refund or option to reschedule.
2.2 Cancellation by Trident Divers
If we cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather or instructor availability), you will have the following options:

Reschedule to another course date at no extra charge.

Full refund of the course fee if rescheduling is not possible.
2.3 Course Materials
If course materials have already been issued and you cancel, the cost of these materials is non-refundable. You will still receive the materials for personal use.
2.4 Course Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule a course for personal reasons, you may do so more than 7 days before the start date without a rebooking fee. Within 7 days of the course, a rebooking fee will apply.
3. Special Circumstances
We understand emergencies and unforeseen events happen. If you are unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances, please contact us directly. We will do our best to accommodate your situation within the guidelines of our policy.

5. Additional Terms

Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of cancellation.

This policy applies to all dive tours and NAUI courses booked directly through Trident Divers.
